Imagine a place for formerly unhoused people that’s intentionally designed to foster community.

It’s on its way.

Breaking ground 2025-26, Mountain View Community Village will be so much more than a place to sleep. In addition to 60 accessible houses, we’ll have social spaces, a dog park, a community garden, classrooms, job training, counseling, case management, and more. All on site, all for formerly unhoused people with a disability.

Our Inspiration

A similar community is already thriving in Austin, Texas, and they are happy to help us replicate their success. While Mountain View Community Village will be designed with the unique needs of Central Oregon in mind, watch this video to see what’s possible.

Every dream needs a plan.

We’re working with Deschutes County to lease an 8.77-acre property in Redmond for $1 for 65 years.

With a grant from the American Rescue Plan Act, overseen by Deschutes County, we’ve hired Ten Over Studio to create a master site plan, complete with beautiful landscaping, a community building, as well as restrooms and laundry.

Hayden Homes has designed disability-accessible houses just right for the village.

Residents will pay rent with HUD housing vouchers, and Medicaid reimbursement will also fund operations. We’ve secured a 15-year LIFT operating allowance.
